Rules and Regulations for Tutors at Counsellors Academy
1. Registration and Qualifications:
• Tutors must hold a minimum of a graduation degree in a relevant subject to be eligible for registration with Counsellors Academy
• There are no registration fees for tutors.2. Tuition Fee Structure:
• For home tuition services, Counsellors Academy charges 50% of the tutor’s first month’s pay as a service fee.
• For online tuition services, Counsellors Academy charges 50% of the tutor’s first month’s pay and an additional 20% of each subsequent month’s pay as a service fee.
• All fees are directly charged to clients, and the tutor’s share will be transferred to their bank accounts within 10-20 days.3. Conduct and Professionalism:
• Tutors are expected to maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards students, parents, and staff members of Counsellors Academy.
• Tutors should arrive punctually for scheduled lessons and provide adequate notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a session.
• Tutors are responsible for maintaining confidentiality regarding any personal information shared by students or their families.4. Lesson Planning and Delivery:
• Tutors should develop appropriate lesson plans aligned with the student’s academic needs and goals.
• Lessons should be engaging, structured, and tailored to meet individual student requirements.
• Tutors are encouraged to provide regular progress reports and feedback to students and parents.5. Harassment and Discrimination Policy:
• Counsellors Academy has a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior.
• Tutors must treat all individuals with respect, regardless of their race, gender, religion, or other personal attributes.
• Any complaints regarding harassment or discrimination should be reported immediately to the academy management for prompt action.6. Communication and Coordination:
• Tutors should maintain open and effective communication with Counsellors Academy, promptly responding to any queries or requests.
• Any changes in personal contact information or availability should be promptly communicated to the academy.
• Tutors are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of tutoring services.7. Termination and Dispute Resolution:
• Counsellors Academy reserves the right to terminate a tutor’s association at any time if they violate the rules and regulations or fail to meet the expected standards.
• In case of disputes or conflicts, both parties should make efforts to resolve the issue amicably through open communication and mediation.
These rules and regulations aim to maintain a high standard of professionalism, ensure a safe and respectful learning environment, and provide clarity on financial arrangements for tutors associated with Counsellors Academy.
Terms and Conditions for Clients (Students) of Counsellors Academy:
Registration and Fees:
Counsellors Academy does not charge any registration fees from students.
The first demo session is provided free of charge. If the client requests an additional demo, a fee will apply, as specified by Academy.
If you are not satisfied with the demo lesson, you have the right to request another tutor.
Payment and Fee Structure:
The client is responsible for discussing and paying the tuition fees directly to Counsellors Academy.
Monthly fees are to be paid in advance once the demo session is completed, and the client is satisfied with the tutor assigned by Academy.
Tuition fees will be communicated to the client before the commencement of the tutoring sessions. Fees may vary depending on the mode of tuition (online, home), subject matter and area etc.Dispute Resolution:
In the event of any disputes or concerns, the client should contact Counsellors Academy promptly to resolve the issue in an amicable manner.
